Honouring the Legacy
The musical legacy of Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan Misra is not only preserved through memories and recordings, but also through continued learning, performance and shared experiences. Living with Music, together with Anubhuti Trust, is committed to carrying forward his vision by creating opportunities for musicians and audiences to engage with the richness of Indian Classical Music.
Today, this commitment takes shape through the annual Remembering Pandit Rajan Misra festival, the Pandit Rajan Misra Fellowship, concerts, workshops, conversations, publications, archival initiatives and other educational programmes that celebrate, preserve and share this invaluable heritage.
Archives
In 2020, Pandit Rajan Misra and Living with Music began documenting the remarkable musical journey of Pandit Rajan Misra and Pandit Sajan Misra. This ongoing archive includes recordings, rare bandishes, masterclasses, workshops, conversations, photographs and other material that reflects decades of musical thought and artistic practice.
We also welcome contributions from rasikas, disciples and well-wishers who may wish to share recordings, photographs, concert material and personal recollections that can enrich this growing archive.
Support
Preserving an artistic legacy is a collective responsibility.
We invite individuals, patrons, institutions and CSR partners who share our commitment to Indian Classical Music to partner with us in sustaining and expanding these initiatives. Your support will help us continue presenting concerts, workshops, fellowships, publications, archival projects and educational programmes, ensuring that Pandit Rajan Misra's music, values and artistic vision continue to inspire generations to come.
