Pandit Rajan Misra & Pandit Sajan Misra, discussing, singing, exploring various aspects of monsoon ragas as well conversing many nuances of Indian Classical Music.
Laughter is always a part of all the events with these legends.
The organic garden of Samata & the warmth of everyone there was a blessing and made our stay wonderful.
The elevating 7 days in the rains of Goa with many hours of discourses, many hours of music & interactions with the participants. Many inspiring stories of older generation of musicians. The camaraderie between the Masters and the disciples was so heartening.

An intensive week of engaging deeply with music in the classical guru-shishya tradition of living and breathing music with world renowned Maestros Pandit Rajan & Pandit Sajan Misra in the lap of Himalayas, Ranikhet. The beauty of Himalayan peaks and valley from the well designed retreat hall was so inspiring. The cottages with all the facilities and scrumptious meals served with affection by the hosts and warm hospitality by Smt Vinita, Shri Arun Singh & Smt Karuna Shriram made the retreat a treat.
Retreat was all about daily discourses and learning-demonstration sessions, explore music as a way of life, understanding the subtle nuances of swaras, ragas and the meditative harmonics of music, exploring the spring based ragas, listening to the interesting anecdotes from the world of music, laughter and much more.

The beautiful home on top a hill was organised by a well wisher Mr. Mukesh Gupta, who made all the arrangement to give utmost comfort & wonderful meals in middle of nowhere to all the participants
